Allongé, Yann Marussich a le cou relié par un câble à un treuil actionnable par tous. S’il est actionné, il étrangle le performeur qui commence sa traversée: une observation sociale des usages de la liberté individuelle quand elle n'est soumise à aucune autorité.
Yann Marussich lies on the floor, a cable connecting his neck to a winch that can be operated by anyone who wishes. When this happens, it strangles the performer as he begins his “crossing”. A social observation of the uses of individual freedom when it is not subject to authority.

21H - STUDENTS OF IMMOBILITY (2015)
A l'invitation du département des Activités culturelles de l’Université de Genève, Yann Marussich a initié durant deux week-ends des étudiants aux principes de l'immobilité. Ils performent le résultat de leurs recherches personnelles et collectives.
Over two weekends, the Cultural Activities department at the University of Geneva invited Yann Marussich to initiate students into the principles of immobility. Tonight they perform the results of their personal and collective research.
