Cobeia is a DJ & Selector from Geneva based in Berlin with a big love for music and a record collection to match. Curious to explore an array of styles, he unearths gems through long digging sessions and plays different kinds of sets depending on the situations and people he mixes with.
For this night at KAURI, COBEIA invites OASE from Fribourg for a night of transcendent electronic music tailored for the club's black box.
Cobeia has been curating & running Ecoutes au vert (EAV) since 2006, a series of mixes and outdoor/indoor music events in Geneva & Berlin featuring many talented local & international Musicians and DJs. www.soundcloud.com
Oase is a DJ and digger from Fribourg, whose eclectic selections are recognized throughout Switzerland. He is one of the co-founders of the online and community station TRNSTN RADIO. He performs usually under the name Los Pashminas alongside his musical partner Vighil, the co-creator of the independent vinyl store Ablette Records in his hometown. Oase likes to take people on a journey and let them let go through the music he skillfully assembles. Always with an emotional touch, from hidden gems to B-sides, weaving them into narratives with a drift of happiness, psychedelic, darkness, and light.
